Fly
fishing gear and lunch is provided. So you
should bring:
- Warm
clothes because the mountains are
unpredictable! Sweat pants are good for
belly-boating. Gloves for very early or
late season
- a
windbreaker and warm top
- solid
runners or low-rise hiking boots
- shorts
and suncream in summer
- sunglasses,
polaroids preferred
- fishing
license (we can arrange but good if you can
get it beforehand)
- hat
with visor
- raingear
(we can supply, just ask)
- camera
- munchies,
other cravings & a bottle of water
For
the fly fisherman with his/her own equipment, we
suggest 9'-10' rods, #5-7 wt. line.
Leaders are 10'-15'. Lines: floating,
intermediate or sink tip, full sink. You'll
find stillwater fly pattern
suggestions at the top of each page throughout this site.
